Near about 91% students use internet for knowing about the colleges or university and different courses. A research which is conducted by the IMRB on student’s internet behavior 4 out of 5 they consider internet the main source of getting information when in terms of finding useful information about any college or university.

College or university have to understand that the offline way of promoting (brochures, leaflets and guide counselors) will work on a certain period of time, but when the colleges or university need to reach their right target audience on the right time. Then right place is go for college and university is digital marketing and well defined strategy which will help them in achieving their goals.
Now, students are conscious and they make their more effort and do the research about the institutions it’s has been noticed that 77% student went back to college or university website after watching their ads.

There are different modules of Digital Marketing:-

1.       Search Engine Marketing (SEM) – Is a technique which used paid website promotion on search engine for E.g. Google, Bing, Yahoo & etc. Where advertiser have to pay a certain bid amount to Google and most used tool in SEM is Google AdWords.
With the help of Google AdWords we can run Display, Mobile, Search, Video & Search and Display ads.


2.       Social Media Marketing (SMM) - Is a technique where we market our product or brand on social media channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest. Social Media marketing is one of the best place to target your right audience at right time and we can easily target on basis of their interest and likes.

3.       Search Engine Optimization (SEO)-  Is the process of affecting the visibility of a website in a search engine result pages in organic way or unpaid way the higher ranked on  the search results pages the website will more frequently appear on the search result list.


4.       Email Marketing – Is the act of sending a commercial mail typically the group of people using email. Every mail sent to potential or current customer could be consider email marketing. It mostly involves using emails to send advertisement and its way to creating loyalty in between customer and brand awareness. Email marketing can be send to current customer database or purchased email leads.
